Disable default Chrome app uninstall sync This CL disables default Chrome apps from syncing their uninstallation across devices. Default Chrome apps are migrating to web apps (https://crbug.com/1058265) which don't support this syncing behaviour. It is important to disable this feature as the Chrome app -> web app migration was causing default Chrome apps to be sync uninstalled on other devices (see bug). This adds a flag to control the feature and disables it by default: chrome://flags/#default-chrome-app-uninstall-sync Additionally the feature will be disabled if either of the default Chrome app migration flags are on: chrome://flags/#enable-migrate-default-chrome-app-to-web-apps-gsuite chrome://flags/#enable-migrate-default-chrome-app-to-web-apps-non-gsuite Bug: 1160128, 1179075 Change-Id: Idb66f4f8c7849159b698eb4eebee7a4ea6bc08f9 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/2703175 Commit-Queue: Alan Cutter <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Dominick Ng <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Devlin <[email protected]> Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/master@{#856191}

Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure .
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
