Method: projects.locations.backupPlans.create

Creates a new BackupPlan in a given location.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

parent

Required. The location within which to create the BackupPlan. Format: projects/*/locations/*

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource parent:

  • gkebackup.backupPlans.create

Query parameters

Parameters
backupPlanId

string

Required. The client-provided short name for the BackupPlan resource. This name must:

  • be between 1 and 63 characters long (inclusive)
  • consist of only lower-case ASCII letters, numbers, and dashes
  • start with a lower-case letter
  • end with a lower-case letter or number
  • be unique within the set of BackupPlans in this location

Request body

The request body contains an instance of BackupPlan.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.
