Export should take into account JavaScript and produce PDF similar to the original page.

When exporting RadFlowDocument that contains TOC field, resultant PDF document should contain link point to the page shown in TOC.


note this is different from already existing request as this request is to link to the page, which is possible in telerik PDF export as demonstrated here and not to the bookmark.

1. Line Height is not converted properly.  for example, if we set the line height is 1.5 in angular UI editor, in PDF is not shown properly,

2. Table alignment is not proper -  After resizing the in the angular editor, the same alignment is not converted in PDF. I think colgroup and cols custom tags are not considering while converting the PDF.

I have read that there limitations to PDF files being imported, however, the file being imported  was generated with FixedContentEditor, so, should be able to import?

I am trying to convert a HTML body to a PDF using HtmlFormatProvider and PdfFormatProvider. 

It works well when I try to create a pdf with "normal" characters, but when I use characters like "åäö" the characters is either missing or replaced with other character. 

I have found a similiar issue but that was due to the fact that the person was using .net core I am using .net framework. 

Am I missing something when I am converting it to a PDF or is there a limitation with special characters like "åäö".

Dear Team,

when I create a pdf with your components (RadFixedDocument, RadFixedPage, FixedContentEditor) I cannot add a "german umlaut" in that report because then it cannot be viewed in your own pdfviewer- control (the exception is: Error loading document: Position is out of range).

I tried to solve this in "creating/ loading" arial.ttf as external font (even this is weird as idea), but this also did not work.

What is your solution for that?

I bought the Telerik components basically for PDF processing, this simply needs to work...

I open an xlsx file thant i create with Excel and edit it with RadSpreadProcessing.

But then I can't display it in a RadSpreadsheet control. An error is displayed during execution on localhost.

If a workbook was created with Excel, an error prevents it from being opened programmatically in a RadSpreadsheet control. Although it can be displayed there using the open button of the RadSpreadsheet. This error does not occur if you copy the contents of this workbook into the RadSpreadsheet and then save it with the save button on the RadSpreadsheet.

I am generating pdf using PdfFormatProvider. In this i am passing html data which should be converted into pdf. For that I have written below code.

This works fine and also get pdf with expected value. But I would like to set spacing between two lines which I could not set or its not working. For that I have added below code.

Attempting to open a Pdf document containing an unsupported action type results in a NotSupportedActionException being thrown (see PdfProcessing: Add support for actions of type Launch).

Can the behavior be changed to ignore unsupported actions and allow the document to be opened?

The common annotation properties are described in table "Entries common to all annotation dictionaries" of the Pdf specification.

We would like to have image formats like JPG, PNG and TIFF supported in addition to the PDF and Office document support in DPL.

Based on how Excel works, VLookup doesn't need to be sorted, if the 4th parameter is FALSE.  The 4th Parameter determines whether an approximate search is used or an exact match is used.  by default true is used and an approximate search requires a sorted range.  However, if set to FALSE,  then the range doesn't need to be sorted.  the value is checked against the entire column of cells and can be unsorted. 

We process spreadsheets that use VLOOKUP with 4th parameter set to FALSE and unsorted data in range.  These work in Excel, but not in Telerik Spreadsheet processing.

Even without flattening the form the Barcode font gets lost.

Noticed that manually setting the font using the font name with spaces seems to work.

Other custom fonts on our form appear to work, however the Free 3 of 9 does not.

Attached a project to demonstrate some issues we're seeing that need resolving in order to use the component.

1. When using a font like Tahoma on a form field, the value no longer displays or contains garbled text.

2. Input file is 24KB, output is 2MB!

3. Rotated field lose their rotation after being flattened.

4. Simulate merging with other files, 100 times the file is now 150MB! It's as though it's not re-using the fonts, but keeps adding the same ones.

5. when merging, but not flattening, the form fields are all lost on pages after page 1

We are using the Telerik Xamarin UI components, which were released on 18th March 2020, for one of our micro-services hosted in Azure cloud, to convert rtf text to raw text. Currently we have Linux containers in Azure. The code which we are using is as follows -
