Hi all, I took the time to restructure the italian translations of docutils material, and updated it as well. Now it follows the same layout of master repository, to make it simpler to drop in new translated docs. The documents themselves are stored in a Subversion repository, and there's a post-commit rule that eventually rebuild static HTML pages from touched sources, something very similar to what happens on the 'docs' subdirectory of the SF.net project site. I'm willing to add accounts for anybody interested. http://docit.bice.dyndns.org/static/ReST/ hth, ciao, lele. Not easily, because the doctitle-h1 is only in 'whole' ('title' contains no tags, just the title itself). So you have to generate quite some HTML code yourself if you want to construct the stuff between <body> and </body>. That's bad, given that using the HTML body is probably quite a common thing. IMO the easiest solution would be to make 'body' the body of the output format. Or should we rather add a function which returns the body of a HTML document? That would require some code, though. -- When replying to my email address, please ensure that the mail header contains 'Felix Wiemann'. http://www.ososo.de/ |

A contact is not always an email (it could be a phone number). And I'm not sure how well it will look combined with an organization and an address (which both probably shouldn't have any markers like <>). So I didn't add any such markers. Easy to implement if there is concensus. > Alan mentions this in another mail. I have at the top of my RST source the following bibliographic fields: :Author: Morten Lied Johansen :Contact: mor...@if... :Date: $Date: 2005-01-11 02:21:42 +0100 (Tue, 11 Jan 2005) $ When I use rst2latex.py, I need to specifiy --use-latex-docinfo to get my name on the titlepage where it belongs. The problem is that latex picks up Author and Date, but not Contact, which leaves a single line on the first page after the titlepage where it simply says: Contact: mor...@if... This looks out-of-place, as the context in which it was placed has been removed (moved to the titlepage). Are there any solutions for this other than removing the field itself and including the email in the authors field? -- Morten My computer said that "Insert disk #3" but I couldn't get more than one disk fit in at a time! |

Hello everyone, I've just installed docutils-0.3.7 on Win XP Pro and Python 2.3. Running the script "alltests.py" in tools reported 14 failures. What is the expected procedure to report this. - Simply send the output-log ? I'm asking, since I have seen a few reports in the mailing-list archive without any meaningful response (at least to me).
