The cycling events at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will take place across four venues from July 27 to August 11, encompassing twenty-two events in five disciplines. This marks the first time in the sport&#x27;s history where an equal number of men and women, totaling 514 cyclists, will compete, aligning with the Union Cycliste Internationale&#x27;s goal of gender equality. Changes in quota allocation have been made, with some men&#x27;s spots transferred to women&#x27;s events, and adjustments in team sizes to adhere to the IOC&#x27;s 2020 agenda. Despite a slight reduction in overall quota, there will still be twenty-two medal events, with some scheduling changes, such as awarding the individual time trial medals on the first day of competition.
