BIOGRAPHY
YongfangWang received her Ph.D. degree in Communication
and information processing from the Shanghai JiaoTong
University (SJTU) in Jul. 2007, advised byYu. She
joined in Shanghai University in 2007. She worked in University of California
at San Diego(UCSD) as a Senior Visiting Scholar
between 2014 and 2015. Her research interests are in the area of intelligent
multimedia information processing and analysis, with focus on Image/Video
Enhancement, Vision Perception Model(2D/3D/VR), Image/Video Object Detection,
Image/video Quality Assessment (2D/3D/VR), Video Coding and Communication
(2D/3D/VR), Machine Learning and so on. Prof Wang has published over 60
papers in top journals and refereed conference proceedings. She has led more
than 10 research projects sponsored by both government agencies and
industrial companies. She also published book chapters from her research
output. She has submitted 24 patents applications including 8 issued patents.
She and her research team won the best student paper award in ICME2018, best
post paper award in ChinaMM2018.She was a recipient of Second Prize to the
Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011.
