Is it due to the most of devs that filled out preview form work and prefer to work on linux or it’s open source
@Middle_quiter - our underlying VMs are powered by Google Cloud’s Cloud Workstations solution, and they provide an Ubuntu-based image that works really nicely for most of our use cases (speed / extensibility / reliability) 
I think because there is no practical alternative. No one would use Windows for servers if they could do with Linux
