INTRODUCCIÓN

Dentro del idioma Inglés, incluso del mismo Español, se presentan dos tipos de voces, activa
y pasiva; mientras que la voz activa se refiere a aquella oración en dónde el sujeto es el que
va a actuar, es el que realiza la acción del verbo de manera directa, mientras que en la voz
pasiva se convierte en sujeto al objeto sobre el cual se va a realizar la acción, dicho de otra
manera, queda en segundo plano la persona que realiza la acción, dando realce e
importancia a el objeto sobre el cual se realiza la acción.

La estructura de una oración pasiva seria “SUJETO + VERBO TOBE +PARTICIPIO

PASADO”, recordemos que el verbo to be se utilizará en el tiempo en el que se desarrolle la
acción, y el participio en pasado dependerá si es un verbo regular añadiendo “ed”, o si es un
verbo irregular, observando como es que se presenta dicho verbo.

Por otro lado, los sustantivos compuestos o Compound Noun, son palabras que están
compuestas de otras, es decir, palabras que tienen una raíz diferente pero que se unen para
dar una nueva palabra con significado entrelazado, es decir, el significado será diferente de
la palabra compuesta, al significado de las palabras por separado.

 CONCLUSIONES

Es importante conocer el uso de la voz activa y pasiva, ya que el dominarla representa una
mayor fluides de la lengua y por consiguiente un mejor nivel de comunicación, al igual que el
uso de los sustantivos compuestos, pues una de las ventajas del idioma inglés, es su
maleabilidad para poder modificar palabras, o unirlas con la finalidad de asignar un vocablo
nuevo y que acorte tanto la pronunciación como la escritura, sin perder el significado de lo
que queremos decir.

It is important to know the use of the active and passive voice, since mastering it represents a
greater fluency of the language and therefore a better level of communication, as Well as the
use of Compound nouns, since one of the advantages of the Englis language, is its
malleability to be able to modify words, or join them in order to assign a new Word and that
shortens both the pronunciation and the writing, without losing the meaning of what we want
to say.
