I'm used to learn new technical stuff (pushed by the industry, but also because I like) and I always like to go in deepth, when I choose (or need) a protocol, technique, equiptment or so, and I have at hand all the information I like to be the best.
I think its my best characteristic, the hability to learn new stuff and always to seek the best configuration, the best performance, etc.
I have done it, when I worked in a fixed telephone company, then in a CDMA operator, then a GSM, then GPRS, EDGE then a UMTS/WCDMA and latest deploying a brand new LTE Network. When R2 protocol trunks was the rule, then when migrating to TUP, then ISUP, BICC, SIP, but also when the used IS-95, IS41a/b/c/...
