Hello,

We have several apps for the same company and would like to upload the MAIDs of each type (iOS or Android) as a single list containing all the ids for the same platform.

Could we do it while using one of the apps id or would only the ids belonging to the app id be matched and we would loose all the other ids?

In other worlds is the app id used for matching the ids ?

Thank you for the clarification!

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

For Google Ads Customer Match, you cannot upload MAIDs for multiple apps into a single list using the ID of just one of the apps. The app_id is a required field when uploading mobile advertising IDs (MAIDs) via the Google Ads API. It is used to uniquely identify the mobile application from which the data was collected. This means that a single MAID list must be associated with one specific app ID. If you try to upload a list containing MAIDs from multiple apps but use only one app's ID, the matching process will fail for any MAIDs that do not belong to that designated app. I would recommend you to refer to this documentation for more information. Additionally, I would suggest you to refer to this help center article for more detailed information.

Thanks,
Google Ads API support team.
