Hi! I'm Karen, and I am absolutely passionate about writing. I've published four fantasy novels in Portuguese, and my cultural contribution granted me the Cecília Meireles Trophy. Now, I work at Chalk — in Halifax, Canada — writing articles about sports and helping out with the relationship with our contractors from Brazil.
Prior to that, for six years I had my own business in Brazil, an illustration studio. I used to manage a small team, create illustrations and layout magazines. I also have experience with marketing, advertising, podcasts, and social media.
