I worked as a hospital chaplain and taught Bible classes for years. I maintain a blog that focuses on spiritual and mental health.I primarily write about mental health and faith-related issues. Christians struggle with these illnesses just as anyone else, but we have a heavenly Father who equips us to fight these battles. Having struggled with depression, I have now been depression-free for many years. What I learned on that journey ultimately became the material for my first book, Depression Has a Big Voice. Make Yours Bigger! My own experiences and the experiences of those I counseled, combined with extensive research and Bible study, contributed to the writing of the book. It is a 60-day devotional and a self-help book all rolled into one. So far, everyone who has read it has said it helped them greatly. Give it a read.My second book, Finding Your More, explores how we discover God's will and purpose in our lives. But I use the word "more" because I think that is what it really is, "more." We find more of everything when we are living the life God has planned for each of us. Each of us has a specific purpose for a specific time in our lives. This book studies the lives of certain people in the Bible and how they found their more. The second half outlines the simple steps you can take to find your personal "more."My third book, Deeper, explores our prayer lives and offers guidance on how to improve them. It also includes practical tips. I also have another non-fiction book exploring relationships, which is soon to be published.I have also written a Christmas novella under the name Perry Rowe. It's not a typical Hallmark story because who really lives a Hallmark life, anyway? Right? It's an honest story and showcases the real struggles Christians face. Hope you will read it.Visit me at goodthoughtsgoodlives.com for uplifting and encouraging posts, as well as updates on my latest books.Anyway, that's enough about me. I would love to hear from you as well. What do you struggle with the most? What is your faith journey like? Do you have doubts sometimes? To be honest, I do. But aren't we glad God doesn't chastise us when we have questions?I hope your day is wonderful and that you sense God's presence in your life.Blessings,Rebeccaview less
