About this ebook
Hi, my name is Jenny and I have written this book because I wanted to share my true story with nice people like you. This book talks about my childhood sexual abuse, done by my stepdad. It uncovers all that nasty things that a paedophile is capable of doing to a child. It's a sad, but true story about my young life, describing isolation, rape and the grand escape, leaving nothing unspoken.
My goal here isn't to get pitty, but to encourage others like me, to help them find the power within, to find the strength, confront their abusers and start living the life the way it should be. I've done it and so can you.
The bad part
Like many true stories, this one also starts with a tragedy. It all started, when my mom married my stepdad and after that, it all went downhill. As a child, I've been punished for the things I didn't do and tortured almost every way imaginable. But, where is darkness, it's always the light as well.
The good part
Somehow I've managed to survive, learn how to defend myself and more importantly, how to find the hidden power within me. It was a long and hard road, but it was worthy. After many years of torture, I've managed to get out of that so-called life and now, I'm just very happy that I'm still alive to be able to write all this, hoping that others like me will benefit from my story.

Abused But Not Defeated
Chapter 1.
The end of a young, worry-free life
I was a happy, 8 years old kid. Lived my young life, free of any worries, with all future in front of me like a blank painting, just waiting for me to draw a beautiful picture. Anything seemed to be possible in those days. I remember that my dreams were to become an astronaut, or at least a doctor, helping the people in need. But as you might know, almost nothing you dream about becomes a reality in life. While there are people, who can blaim only themselves for their misfortune, there is a vast majority of those, who can blame everything else.
At the time, I was living in a beautiful small town in Minnesota. I had many good friends, playing numerous child games with them, care free. I've also attended the school, of course, where I aced at most of courses. My life was a pretty good one then. However, good things never last. I still remember the day, when my
