Study "It": English as a Second Language series is an engaging textbook for teaching non-native English speakers. It takes advantage of the format to include video and audio in a way that supports the lessons and never feels added on as an "enhancement." The textbook uses a number of different assessment formats to allow users to test themselves throughout the book and see their scores. The book even uses the Note function effectively for long-form answers. While the content of the book is challenging, it makes learning grammar easy and fun. - 2015 Digital Book Award Review

Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda
We have all had bad days and we’ve all made mistakes. Whether you forgot to do your homework or slept in for work, everyone has to say Woops
from time to time. This lesson focuses on idioms that we use when we make mistakes.
1. Have you ever spent too much on something? What was it?
2. Have you ever had an awkward date? What happened? What could you have done differently?
3. Have you ever failed a test? Why did you fail?
Language Point
When we are talking about mistakes and regretful situations, we can use many different phrases to really express our feelings strongly.
For example:
I made a mistake. I failed my test. I feel sad = I’m kicking myself for failing my test.
BE CAREFUL!
I shoulda = I should have
Use the simple verb after should, would, and could
Ex: I should have bought more chocolate milk.
I should bought more chocolate milk.
