I really wish they gave out this book instead of pads & tampons in 5th grade. It's ridiculous that I didn't find out how my body works until now, but, whatever.

The book presents sympto-thermal charting in an understandable manner, but it really focuses on trying to get pregnant rather than trying to avoid pregnancy. I understand how the principles can be used the other way around but I really think there should be another book about using FAM as birth control. I'd have liked more info regarding transitioning off of hormonal birth control.

Otherwise, very informative with very clear diagrams and pictures. Even if you're not trying to avoid pregnancy or get pregnant, if you are female or in a relationship with a female, this is as close as you get to an owners manual for a uterus.

This book was really fantastic. I was completely unaware of the charting and observation techniques this book spells out and it has been really useful.

A great and very thorough explanation of how to understand what's going on with your reproductive system, just by tracking your temperature and cervical fluid. A must-read for any empowered woman -- this book will provide a wealth of useful and enlightening information even for those who aren't interested in conceiving or in natural birth control.
