()
About this ebook
From Hesitant to Handshake, is a 21st-century approach to networking from an introvert's perspective.
In this book, I will teach you how to successfully jump start your career and start lining up those ideal interviews all through the power of networking. You’ve already done the work to make yourself an ideal candidate for all those positions you want, but always seem to end up on the outside looking in. Trust me, I’ve been there and so have many others.
You have probably been told the only way to really network is to go to large networking events with tons of people and hand out as many business cards and resumes as possible. Not only can this be overwhelming but it can be extremely ineffective. As an introvert, I’ve been able to come up with a system for networking that not only fits my personality but one that also has a high degree of success.
In order to truly put yourself in the best possible position when applying for potential positions at top companies you have to do more than just submit your application online, especially in today’s competitive job market. How many positions have you applied for online and never heard anything back? If you were like me, probably a lot. But this doesn’t have to continue to happen to you. In this book, I will show you how to stand out, get noticed by top companies, and start landing interviews.
I will walk you through the steps to go from hesitant networker to the confident handshake after accepting your ideal job offer.
What to expect from this book:
•How to start building your Network
•Ways to get exposure with companies where you want to work
•How to get your name in the top 10% of job applicants
•Exact scripts to use when communicating with potential employers
