If you are reading this book, then chances are you are facing one of the most important questions in your life: Is she the one for me? This is one of the most important turning points in your life because history shows that a woman can make or break a man. That is, the right woman will be able to keep a man's life organized, and allows him to achieve new heights in every aspect of his life. On the other hand, the wrong woman may devolve your life into an endless spiral of petty fights or much, much worse.

Indeed, throughout history, we see women play big roles in the lives of great men. There is Melinda and Bill Gates; Josephine and Napoleon Bonaparte; Jacqueline and John F. Kennedy; Nancy and Ronald Reagan; Hillary and Bill Clinton, to name a few. These are some of the most prominent men in recent history. As the saying goes, behind every great man there is a great woman.

Before we continue, I want to share with you a couple of my viewpoints on finding out of she is the one. Firstly, I believe that finding the one can amplify your life to new heights. However, that is all you can expect them to do: amplify and multiply. If you are not happy with yourself—if you are in a negative state in your life—having a woman by your side may simply multiply your negativity. If you are unsatisfied with the way your life turns out at the moment, do not make the mistake of thinking that it is only so because you have not discovered the one yet. This is a very dangerous mindset to be in. Why? Because when someone is unhappy by himself, I find that a partner usually won't necessarily make him happy. Even worse, when said partner fail to make him happy (which is his own problem), he will start to think that it is her fault, or that they are incompatible with each other. All thanks to this unreasonable expectation he has on his partner.

Of course, you can complete each other by being together. In fact, you should be happier and better off with each other. In some cases, you may actually turn from a negative to a positive by being with the woman of your dreams. However, do not expect the one, or a woman, to be the solution to your unhappiness. It is your life, and you should take control of it.

Secondly, when we talk about the one, what are we referring to? While our sets of values may be very different from one another, I believe that the one can be defined as a person with whom your joint utility functions are maximized when you are together. This means that the both of you are happiest when you are with each other, compared to when either of you are alone, or on a romantic relationship with another. While this all makes perfect sense, it can
