About this ebook
Many popular stories speak of a mysterious Tree that connects the "Kingdom of the Gods" with the "World of Mankind," to then extend itself toward the "Realm of the Demons."
Curiously, the Cosmic Tree exists in both Judaism and Christianity, as well as in Buddhism and Islam. Each religion describes it in its own way, but in the background of these descriptions we find the same basic structure.
The Tree of Life can be found in civilizations so different and geographically far from each other, such as the Scandinavian, Indian (both the Asian and the continental American ones), Japanese, Arabian, Egyptian and many others.
In each case described in this book we'll see how our daily lives revolve around this luminous and magical Tree. You'll also realize how and why in every case the roots of the Cosmic Tree shelter a hideous "Serpent" or a monstrous "Dragon." At the same time, you'll come to understand why there's always a "Cosmic Bird" perched on its highest branch. What's interesting is that both the "Bird" and the "Serpent," as well as the Tree itself, are all part of our perceptible reality. This means that you can easily see them with your own eyes.
When you come to understand the transcendental design of the Cosmic Tree, you'll also comprehend why the head-figure of every religion—Zoroaster, Mithra, Buddha, Attis, Wotan, Quetzalcoatl, Mohammed, Jesus—is related to one of these Trees.
Each chapter deals with one of the most famous Cosmic Trees, its legend and relation to the Cosmology and religion of the civilization it belongs to. You'll also discern the relation that each one has with Astronica, the new way of evaluating the exocauses (ie, astrophysical effects) that influence our daily lives. In the opening chapters of the book I provide basic Astronical material to help you understand the workings of the Cosmic Tree (and of Astronica itself).
I dare say, that without the parallelism found between the Cosmic Tree's design and the basic structure of an Astronical Cycle, the Legend would only be a quaint story. It's only when we grasp the underlying Astronical meaning of the Tree's multi-dimensional constitution, that the Allegory discloses the Magical Principle that upholds every culture's religion or integral philosophy. That’s when the Story stops being fiction and reveals the Primordial Secret that has been kept hidden for so long.
If you have an open mind, I'm sure that you'll enjoy reading about the "Forest" of Cosmic Trees that describes the archetypal energy pattern that yearns to come forth through each of us, each one expressing it in their own way.

IN ENGLISH - (EN ESPAÑOL, MÁS ABAJO) I'm sort of a three-way hybrid. My family upbringing was definitely European (Belgian), my early teen-age years were enjoyably influenced by the American way of life (Glendale, California), at the beginning of the Rock 'n Roll era (anybody remember?), and the rest of my life exposed me to the fast-paced Latin American culture (Venezuela and the Caribbean islands). This gave me the order and discipline of the European, the modern vision and progressive imagination of an American, and the animated soul of a Latino. By trade, I'm a Computer Systems Engineer, who specialized in setting up systems for large, high-rise hotels in Latin America. For the past 29+ years, after investigating many fields and debunking a lot of information, I've been designing a system that I named ASTRONICA (very little in common with classic Astrology). In short, it's a technique that anyone can use to (1) get to know their true inborn attributes, qualities and skills, and (2) to determine the ongoing conditions (exocauses) that inevitably influence us and our environment, at any given time or place. You can test the efficiency of Astronica for yourself, by visiting the Astronica website (www.astronica.org, in Spanish or English - online since 1997). Try out any of the free and user-friendly apps that you'll find there—they're all based on astronical algorithms, handled by AI. You can go there either with a desk PC or a laptop. But if you're mostly on the go, feel free to use a smartphone or a tablet. No registration, no cost, no hype. After retiring from the Hotel/Computer business, and after having put together the Astronica system, I began to write in two different fields: fiction and non-fiction. In the non-fiction section, I've written several books about Astronica (e.g., The Astronica Handbook, The Cyclegram, Dynamy and Polarity, The Cosmic Tree and The Hidden Circle). My writings in the fiction section usually include characters who live in the imperceptible "threshold area" that's between our every-day reality and the rest of the Multiverse (e.g., Imo, The Keepian and an ultra-short story, Nothing Speaks). I like to call this genre MetaFiction: the Reality that lies beyond reality. Currently, I live in Caracas, Venezuela and work every day on the Internet, to expand and further hone the Astronical resources. Now and then, when my Muse nudges me, I take another shot at story wr...

INTRODUCTION
The Tree of Life, the World Tree and the Cosmic Tree are three different ways of referring to the same thing: an entity that, curiously, is found in Myths and Legends of many different countries and cultures.
Many popular stories speak of a mysterious tree
that supposedly connects the Kingdom of the Gods
with the World of Mankind,
to then extend itself into the Realm of the Demons.
Some civilizations say that this tree
is planted at the center of the world and that it’s responsible for all earthly fertility. These societies affirm that human life came from its trunk,
and that its fruit
can grant Eternal Life. Other traditions relate the tree
to a symbolic death, and to a periodic renovation or cyclic rebirth. A bit further ahead you’ll understand why I write tree
and its parts within quotation marks.
The Cosmic Tree exists both in Judaism and Christianity, as well as in Buddhism, Shintoism and Islam, among many other religions. Naturally, each of them describes it in their own way, but in the background of all those narratives we’ll find one and the same basic structure.
The Tree of Life can be found in civilizations so different and geographically separated such as the Scandinavian, Indian (both the Asian and the continental American ethnicities), Japanese, Persian, Egyptian and many others.
It’s been compared to the Axis Mundi (the mythical Axle of the World
), to a Cosmic Pillar
and to a Universal Shaft.
There are Myths that affirm that the tree’s
top is underground and that its roots
are up in the heavens. Others say that it’s the other way around. Still, most of the Tales that speak about the Cosmic Tree state that its roots
are in the Underworld of the Demons
and that it’s highest branches
reach up into the Realm of the Gods.
In each case described herein you’ll see how our own daily lives—incredibly—revolve around this magical tree.
You’ll also see how and why in every case the roots
of the tree
shelters a hideous Serpent,
a Dragon
or some other kind of monstrous Reptile.
At the same time, you’ll come to understand why there’s always a Cosmic Bird
perched on its highest branch.
What’s really amazing is that both the Bird
and the Serpent,
as well as the Tree
itself, truly exist within our perceptible reality. This means that you can see them with your own eyes!
In the following pages you’ll find a collection of the most famous Cosmic Trees.
Each chapter deals with one of these Universal Trees,
along with its Legend and its relation to the Cosmology and religion of the civilization it belongs to. You’ll also see the relation each one has with Astronica.
Astronica
In short, it’s the contemporary way of locating, evaluating and using the effects that exocauses (astrophysical forces) that surround the Earth apply on our environment and on our lives. Astronica has extremely little in common with Astrology; but, is very akin to Chronobiology (Nobel Prize, 2017).
I dare say, that without the parallelism there is between the Cosmic Tree’s
design and the basic structure of the Astronical Cycle (which I’ll soon explain), the Legend would only be a quaint story. It’s only when we grasp the underlying Astronical meaning of the tree’s
multi-dimensional constitution, that the Allegory discloses the magical principle that upholds every culture’s religion or integral philosophy. That’s when the Story stops being fiction and reveals the primordial secret that has been kept hidden for so long.
When you come to understand the transcendental design of the Cosmic Tree,
you’ll also comprehend why the main figure of every religion—Buddha, Attis, Wotan, Quetzalcoatl, Mohammed, Christ and many others—is related to one of these awe-inspiring trees.
In the first chapters of this book I provide some Astronical material to help you better understand the Cosmic Tree.
I’d like to clarify that the Astronical method does not come from the analysis of the Myths and Allegories included in this work. On the contrary, these age-old Legends, which I have collected throughout the years, in their own way, corroborate Astronica’s fundamental principles. The Astronical techniques derive exclusively from the evaluation of Astrophysical events (exocauses).
To close this Introduction, I’d like to invite the scientific or religious-minded reader to be flexible in their judgment. My friendly advice is that they put down the Sword of automatic rejection, without sacrificing the Shield of cautious reasoning.
With this said, let’s take a look at the Stories about the marvelous Cosmic Trees
that give form to the Enchanted Forest of Mystical Knowledge.

PRIMORDIAL STRUCTURE
Strange as it may sound, to understand the Cosmic Tree,
we’ll have to raise our eyes to the starry heavens.
