The Silent Cry of a P.K./L.K. (Preacher's & Leader's Kid): Was It I Who Made You Cry?

About this ebook
Every day, all over the world from the United States to Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, we experience an interesting phenomenon. People of all cultures, races, ages and stages of life have children. Children with an array of eye color. Children with varied hair color. Children who are short in stature, and those who are toall. Children who are scale tippers; and those who barely register any weight at all. All a wonderful mystery until they travel from the womb into the world, and then onto stages of life.
But what if people could choose the family which they are birthed into. Like we choose who to marry, where to live or work, and even when to accept Chirst. Most choices we make have exit strategies in the event it doesnt work as planned. Why not a family?

About the Author
Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book to my supportive husband, Senior Associate Pastor Andrew J. Williams, Sr. You took me on a well-needed vacation in November 2006 that allowed me time to refocus on the ministry plan that God has for my life. I can’t thank you enough. I love you more and more each day.
To my parents, Paul and Iola Colwell, thanks for the example you’ve always been to your children. Daddy, as you watch over us from Heaven I know that you’re pleased that the mantle you transferred to your daughter still lives. Momma, I love you so much – a woman of strength and God’s word.
To Ruth (1941-1991) and Dorothy (1952-1997), my sisters, I miss you so much. When I’m very lonely, I always remember your smiles and it keeps me going.
To Ann (my baby sister), Ronnie, Oneka and JeriAnn, stay faithful.
Shaun and Rodney Caldwell – Stay strong. Much love to you both.

First of all, I would like to thank God, who gave me the strength to give birth to this spiritual assignment. There are a number of wonderful people who contributed in countless ways to my experience in writing this book, and to them far and near – Thank you.
My gratitude to my husband, Andrew J. Williams, Sr. who generously shared me with this manuscript. I will always appreciate your love and support. To my children, Neco and Sheila, Chocolate and Carlos Sr., Keith, Robbie and Yolonda, Andrew Jr. and Aja. To my grandchildren, Nich, Lysa, Carlos Jr., Aja, Ashanti, and Adrienne. The Louisiana connection – Tina, Rekinna and my grand-8.
I also want to acknowledge the compassion and encouragement that I received from my spiritual children, Pastor Fred and Vernell Baker, Keith Hayes, Quinetta Beard, James and Joy Eichelberger and Ashaunda Davis, mentee. To Taylor and Gabriel – grandma loves you.
I am indebted to my Senior Pastors, Gerard and Kimberly Ruff for their practical teaching, love and support – true visionaries. Pastor Gerard – I know you’re a very busy man, and I thank you for writing the Preface. Pastor Kim, thanks for being my Pastoral covering for Women’s Ministry at all times, and in all things.
To all the PKs and LKs that have taken the time to write about their lives so the world will know how valuable they truly are.
Minister Jada Jackson, Elder Gail Banks-Taylor, and Elder Sandra Mason, my editors, my friends, my prayer partners, and my sisters; without your dedication, your consecration, keen eyes, and most of all your intercession over me, and this project, I could not have gotten this done.
The Law of Association states that you become like those with whom you spend time. My mentors…
Dr. Ruby Lee Pedescleaux, Sr. Pastor, Showers of Blessings Ministries, Shreveport, LA.
Dr. Rita Twiggs, Associate Pastor, and Dean of the Potter’s House School of Ministry, Dallas Texas.
