Chapter 1: Quick Start Guide
Quickly Go to First Home Screen
Press the Home button once allows you to quickly go to the first Home screen.
Tips001Quickly Return to the Top
Whenever you need to swipe up to browse more contents, for example, when browsing a webpage, a list or emails, you can always tap the status bar to quickly return back to the top.
Tips002Jumping the Index
If you see indexes on the side of a list, you can hold down your finger on the list and move around to jump between indexes.
Tips017Delete a List Item
For list items, you can usually swipe left on it to delete.
Tips004Change List Order
When editing a list, drag an item to change list order.
Tips005Reveal Hidden Search Field
Apps like Contacts, Mail, Notes (and more) allow you to pull down the list to reveal the search field.
Tips006Find Anything Quickly
Swipe down (not from the top edge of the screen) from any of the Home screens to reveal Search field, then enter your search terms to find it in your iPhone. This can be an app, message, contact, and etc.
Tips007Switch Between Recently Used Apps
Quickly press the Home button twice to display recently used apps.
Swipe left to find more result.
Tap the screen to switch to that app.
Tips008Close an App Running in Background
Flip up to close a recently used app (in order to reduce battery usage).
Tips009Save an Image
To save an image from Mail, Safari and Messages, just touch and hold the image until you see the save
option.
Never miss a Shot
If you are on Locked screen, touch the camera icon and swipe up to turn on camera. You don’t need to enter any passcode.

Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Centre.
