Taxonomy: Detailed taxonomic classification of the pineapple plant is as given below:
Plant Description: Pineapple is an herbaceous perennial plant. At maturity the plants have an average height of 1-1.5 meter and a spread up to one meter. The plant has a short, stout stem with a rosette of long leaves surrounding it. Leaves
