I have written this dessert cookbook for those who, like me, love to cook but do not love to bake. There is a saying that cooks who love to cook do not like to bake and bakers who love to bake do not like to cook
. This saying perfectly describes me. However, anyone who loves to cook also wants to, on occasion, serve a lovely dessert that is both delicious and easy to make.
This dessert cookbook is filled with delicious recipes that I hope you will come to love and rely on. You will not need a large Kitchen Aid mixer nor fancy baking tools. I promise that you will come to enjoy the wonderful recipes in this book, many of which can be assembled in 10 minutes or less.
DESSERTS AND THEIR HISTORY
Starting from the Middle Ages only rich people ate desserts such as preserved fruits or jellies. They were sometimes prepared inside of wafers, which were made from a batter.
