SMILE
A smile will ease your pains and sorrows.
It’ll make you see a bright tomorrow.
So smile when you’re blue,
Just pull yourself together and be you.
Remember a sunny day always follows the rain;
You have nothing to lose, everything to gain.
Why don’t you give a smile?
You’ll be smiling for a long,-long while.
A little smile will go a long way—
That’s what the old folks always say.
Give a big smile and that’s a clue;
Keep on smiling and the whole world’ll
Smile with you.
A smile is the key.
Try smiling and you’ll see;
’Cause that the only way to be.
Just a smile will bring you tranquility.
Smile although your heart is aching.
Smile today, it’ll be a breathtaking;
Let a smile begin your day, smile regardless
Of what anyone says,
And in a short while all of your troubles
Will fade away.
A LEMON
Roses are red Mr. Bower,
And the lemons are sour,
That car you sold me has no power.
The engine needs tuning up; it won’t crank;
I observed the gallons of oil, and gas it drank.
Part of it body has turned to the color of gold;
Those five tires are bald, and very old.
That car won’t shift in reverse;
I had been hit in my wallet where it really hurt.
No heat is to be found Mr. Bower and you not around.
Mr. Bower you are and excellent Conn man, but you thought
You would never get caught; even with a bloodhound.
Mr. Bower violets are dead; I hope your blood is red.
Because you’ve already given me an excuse to go up side
Your head.
Mr. Bower you are going to take that piece of junk back;
Because you’ve gone too far,
Or I will expose your bad business to the law.
Mr. Bower you had better stop talking trash;
You had better get yourself together, and give me back
My hard-earned cash.
MR. Bower when you are apprehended and go to jail; you
Might not be coming back; believe me Jack, and that’s a fact.
JOSE
THE LEAPING FROG
Jose the leaping frog, why are you leaping?
Did someone disturb you while you were sleeping?
Or maybe it was that insect you caught
While just pretending you were weeping.
Jose was it a cat or a dog?
Is that the reason you are leaping in the fog?
Tell me why did you leap over four large logs?
But you almost landed on the back of a muddy hog.
However, you landed right in the bog!
Jose why are you leaping so high?
Are you trying to reach the sky?
Nevertheless, if you do, why don’t you make it your home,
And don’t come back until the Fourth of July?
Jose, do you ever go to sleep?
Just close your eyes and don’t try to peep.
Jose, since you won’t discuss why you were leaping,
That secret you are holding inside,
May be its worth while keeping.
LITTLE GIRL BLUE
Little girl, little girl, little girl
Blue;
Please tell me just what is
Bothering you.
Why are you sitting in the garden
Alone?
Is it a broken heart that’s causing you
To moan?
Just pull yourself together and
Give me a clue,
And I’ll find you a lover that I
Know will be true.
I happen to be that lover; my
Heart belongs to you.
JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH
Jesus Christ of Nazareth rose from poverty,
And became a great leader although he never went to
High school, or college; therefore, he never
Received a high school diploma, Or a college degree;
He never worked in an office, and he is never mean
He made the lepers cleaned; he healed my daughter,
And he walked on water; he is the man who is sweet and kind;
At a wedding turned the water into wine. He healed the sick,
And he raised the dead; with two little fish and five love of breads
Five thousand he fed. So if it Jesus Christ you seek he can help you When
You’re strong or weak. He made the blind man see and the dumb man speak.
There’s nothing this man called Jesus cannot do because he’s impeccable. He
Make no mistakes; he is always on time Then one day he died on the cross on Calvary
For our sin; so that we can be cleaned again; so if you want your life to be all right
You had better put your trust in Jesus Christ; because he is the one that can lead you out of
Darkness into the bright light; he could touch a leave and turned it to gold, and can touch a
Young man and make him old; mystery unfolded the greatest story that has ever been told.
The whole life story of Jesus Christ.
LOVE BEGINS
Love begins with words saying, I love you.
Believe it or not, those three beautiful words are so true.
Love begins with a love song.
Just sing out loud with those words and you’ll
Never go wrong.
Love begins by reading poems of love and beauty.
Anyone can fall in love; it’s everyone’s duty.
Love begins when two hearts meet.
Need I say more on this subject; or should I repeat.
Love begins with caring.
Love begins by sharing.
Love begins with good communication.
Love never begins with isolation.
Love never begins with jealousy.
Love begins with trust, respect and honesty.
Love begins with L and end with an E
And in between Is O and V.
Love begins with the birds and the bees.
Just open your eyes and you’ll see!!
Love begins with a beautiful bouquet that
Bloom in the spring;
However love begins with hugs, and kisses and
All kind of lovely things.
A BIG BIRD AIRCRAFT CRUISE
I went to New York, in a big bird aircraft cruise;
Arrived there safe and without any bruises.
I rode in a big bird aircrafts cruise, and it had windows,
And doors, the size of it was fifty times, or more bigger than I;
It’s heavier than air, propelled by jet engines, and can fly very high.
I sat in a seat near the window in that big bird aircraft, on the right wing side;
Speeding off the roadway, I watched as it rises;
With engine roaring; it soars like an eagle toward the sky;
After looking through my window, I was mesmerized when it rose high above
Land, and sea, over beautiful mountain tops, it didn’t stopped it continued on
Through white clouds it glides; it got so level I walked down the aisle inside;
I t flew so smoothed, and I wonder why;
How could such a gigantic bird with landing gears a pairs of wing traveled so fast,
And very high;
However, looking down everything became miniature,
Even the two men below I saw moving some furniture;
However, when I reached my destination;
I walked off that big bird aircraft cruise with a big smile,
Because that is going to stay with me for a long, long while.
After I got off that big bird aircraft that was bigger than I;
I thank the pilots and his crews for a safe trip. I did some research work on this project;
The answer
