Growing up she was quiet and introspective, and her depth of feeling eventually gave expression through writing. Janielle also attended the University of Illinois, and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

THE MORNING SUN
Love is like the morning sun
Rising, as if nothing existed before
Gently enveloping all that there is
Transcending all that came before.
Real Love is like the morning sun
Pure, simplistic, infinitely wise
No need for selfishness
Not clinging
Never bound by words
Infinitely true
Lacking all disguise.
Limitless in its Beauty
It magically unfolds each moment
Revealing only itself
There is no one else to Be.
Old as the Wind Eternal
Yet fresh as the breath not yet taken
It is this I know when I see clearly
I do not Love
I Am Love.
REFLECTIONS OF THE HEART
In this ever changing world
In which we fight
To hold onto that
Which is dearest to us
Where dreams, fears and at times
Our deepest values take pause,
If only for a moment,
In order to meet
The needs of the heart
Even in a world such as this
