Lifting up the Name of Jesus (Lunj) - Dove of Sharon

    Miracle of Anointed Oil

As Ms. Davis went to substitute teach at the busy middle school in the city,

She arrived at the classroom to find students dancing on the desks and running all around.

    Quiet! yelled Ms. Davis

    Quiet! young ladies and gentlemen

You need to call security, said the young lady sitting at the desk like a secretary dressed neatly in a top fashion sweat suit.

But, Ms. Davis wanted to try a few more times to see if they would listen.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ms. Davis said in a pleading voice.

But the ruckus did not stop.

Ms. Davis went over to the phone and called security. Security came over and helped Ms. Davis get the class under control and then left. Ms. Davis finished up the day and taught the literature lessons on the current story, James and the Giant Peach.

The next day, Ms. Davis anointed herself with Holy Oil as a point of contact of the Holy Spirit, and, prayed over her classroom asking God to help the class to be in control, and anointed the classroom. Ms. Davis did not have to call security and the class not only calmed down, but all went to sleep under the sound of her voice as she read to them from, James and the Giant Peach. The classroom was almost like a completely different class of students. They were all calm and listened to the story. They went out at the end of class stretching and yawning, saying, please come back tomorrow and read to us again!

Thank you, Holy Spirit, Ms. Davis said to herself as the left the school that day. Knowing that it was the anointed oil and prayer that made a great miracle of calmness and peace come across a wild classroom the day before. This transformation was quick and almost unbelievable. The students were so sweet. The peace of God was in the classroom. And when the same class that was rude on yesterday, was so quiet and everyone was sleep, that was a miracle.

Anointed Oil –(Directions: Get a bottle of Virgin Olive Oil in your hand.) PRAYER - Dear Lord I pray that each person will begin to gather their olive oil and pray with me to anoint it: – Sweet Holy Spirit, release now Your anointing power as a point of contact over the virgin olive oil that is held in the hand of the believer, to anoint themselves, their homes and loved ones that Your diving protection will be upon us, and You will fill us with the Power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to guide us and lead us to the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life in Glory with You Lord Jesus, in Your precious name, I pray now and plead the blood of the risen Lamb of God over the lives of Your sheep, Oh Great Shepherd of the Sheep, that Your rod and staff will comfort us, guide us, deliver us from sin, and save us, and we shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Amen

    Miracle Of Ball Box

Psalm 61: 1-3 (Holy Bible KJV)

Hear my cry, O God, attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

(This is a song and one of my favorites! Sing the Psalm 61!)

The Miracle at the Ball Box

I must have been in the First grade, when our teacher dismissed us after the other classes had already went out to recess. It was a ball-box in the far corner of the yard and all of us kids ran to it as soon as we were let out to recess. When I finally got there, I was hoping to get a ball and I knew chances were slim. I wanted to play ball that recess bad, so with tears in my eyes, I prayed for a ball.

Also, I was crying out to God, because I was desperate for the LORD. Here we were already late to recess, and I really wanted to play today. Now, all the other classes had gotten to the ball box first, and it looked like they might have gotten all the balls already. I almost lost hope that I would be able to enjoy this recess at all.

Well, right there in the back corner in the dark of the box was a little flat-looking pink rubber handball. I had hoped and prayed for this sight. So, I picked it up praying to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as much as I knew Him, and asked him with big tears in my eyes,

Dear LORD please make this ball bounce, so I can play this recess?

Thus, I grabbed the ball, believing the prayer I had just prayed, and began to bounce that ball, I hit it the first time, it bounced a little, I hit it the second time, it bounced a little more, and I hit it the third time hard as I could with my little fist, and it bounced even more. After that, I played all recess with that ball! I did not know how such a little tiny miracle could mean so much to a child.

Finally, I knew then that God really did answer prayer, and although I was just old enough to start school and play alone at recess with the other children on the yard, I knew how to call on the LORD God in prayer, and so I did. I had faith in God, and He answered my prayer. I don’t know if I even took time to thank Him at that time, but certainly thanked Him later. I thought nothing more of it for a while, but I played and played with that ball and was ever so grateful to God so much that I never forgot how He answered prayer and worked a
