Author

George Kuntu-Blankson

Upon deep reflection on his life, he looks back to 1978 and especially 1983 as the turning points in his life. 1978 was a turning point in his search to truly know himself and to pursue a meaningful life and wrote a poem which exemplifies his commitment to seek God to know him intimately and to serve him all the days of his life. The poem was written during his four years in College and was published in the school magazine Footnotes in Spring 1978 Vol. 5, No. 2. The poem is simple and easy to digest and appears on page ( )... In 1983, he prayed to God for a sign after praying and fasting three days in a week for six months during the pregnancy of his wife who had previously miscarried four times during the sixth month of each pregnancy and God proved himself to him exactly as he had prayed for. He asked God to have it rain at exactly 6pm on a Friday when he was about to break his fast and have the thunder strike three times and in August 1983 on a Friday at 6pm it rained and the thunder struck seven times. He continued fasting until his son was born in November and his daughter was born seven years after his son. This experience sealed his faith in God. There is more to this experience and Gods extended blessings to other family members that he prayed for at the same time who had children the same years as his children and only months apart. He states that in life you must want more for others than you want for yourself.

    PREFACE

How would you live your life if you died and found out there is God and you were given another opportunity to live your life over; and conversely, how would you live your life if you died and found out that there is actually no God and you had another opportunity to live your life again?

These are random questions to consider for insight when reading the word of God, the Bible.

    1. Why did GOD create ADAM as a MAN and not as a BABY or as a CHILD whom HE could have nurtured and molded to HIS liking and for HIS purpose?

    2. When did GOD create ANGELS?

    3. How long did LUCIFER reign as the Morning Star before he rebelled against GOD and was cast out of Heaven and which Heaven?

    4. Why does God want us to love him with all of our heart, mind and spirit?

(So you will have no heart left to be broken by anyone).

    5. When was the beginning of all beginning? What is the difference between: In the beginning God created the heaven and earth, and: In the beginning was the word and the word was with God…?

    6. Why is Solomon the wisest and richest man ever?

    7. Why does the Bible state that it is easier for a camel to enter into the eye of the needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. Who is a rich man?

    8. Who is your brother? Who is your neighbor and why do you have to love your neighbor as yourself? Do your neighbors influence your way of life?

    9. Is the Bible the True Word of God?

    10. Why did Methuselah live to be 969 years old?

    If only

    I could

    Then

    I would

    Yes

    I can

    And so

    I will

    CHAPTER ONE

    The Mind Doctrine

The Mind is a Spiritual Phenomenon

It is a truth, a universal truth to be reckoned with in our continual search to understand our human existence and the complexities and mysteries of life generally, that - no one - yes, no one, is born with a ‘Mind’ which upon birth instantly discerns the core meaning of the physical and spiritual things of life or the existence or non-existence of God¹. By all measure, we are all born with brains and from the moment of birth our brains begin to receive Information which ferments and transforms into a "Mind". It is essential to take note at this very early stage in understanding the mind that the fermentation and transformation into the Mind is a spiritual phenomenon. With the emergence of the mind begins the learning and thinking processes, the cognitive² processes.

The cognitive process begins from a mundane level but improves significantly and extensively on the existing conditions of our immediate environment and the availability of information within the enclave of the community in which we identify with or become an integral part of in our total human development. The mind begins to develop to understand the meaning of life and to unravel the mysteries and secrets of life. The difference between the brain and the mind is quite distinct. The brain is a physical organ but the Mind is a spiritual phenomenon. The mind is not physical by any stretch of our imagination. The brain can undergo surgery but the mind cannot and does not undergo surgery; there is brain cancer which is a physical manifestation but there is never reference to mind cancer; the mind can only undergo transformation which is a spiritual exercise. This is the reality of our being and the contrast of the physical with the spiritual. Our concentration on science research deals mainly with physical realities but not the spiritual manifestations of things which, of course, cannot be measured. To infuse the spiritual growth of man into the physical growth and development of man understandably and perceptibly produces very recognizable outcomes, evident perhaps only to those who eagerly seek to find the purpose and true meaning of life. Think about it and perhaps begin the search for the purpose and meaning of your individual life without the spiritual component of your being.

Life has its physical and spiritual meaning and it has been up to the human race to search and dig deeply to understand the wide spectrum of life and its mysteries which have pervaded and continues to pervade the human consciousness. The source of the mind is the same in all humans. From the same source we diverge and travel on different trajectories. We therefore must search for answers both in the physical and spiritual realms of our being within the broader spectrum of life to uncover the true meaning of life. We cannot decode, decipher or uncover the true meaning of life without a genuine attachment to the principles of life and without first understanding the nature and function of the human brain, notwithstanding the versions perpetrated by science or scientist who thinker with physical concepts without endeavoring to understand the spiritual aspect of what transforms elements into their physical reality. There is reality and there is science which undertakes to unravel or breakdown the elements of things to produce the essence of things by strokes of imagination and exploration. Without the search to first understand the spiritual quotient of our human existence, we would only be scratching the surface in our search for the hidden potentialities and the true meaning and source of our heritage.

The physical reality is evident but the spiritual determination of the functions of the physical may evade us if we strive only for the physical exploration without first understanding the spiritual components and their effects on things being explored. For example, what are the effects of sun rays? The sun is a physical reality but the true functions of the sun and its effects on the human body and the human spirit are essential factors to conceptualize without which the scientific search to understand our human existence may be considered an incomplete or short-sighted form of scientific research.
