If you were born between the years 2010-2024, you are a part of Generation Alpha. This book is for you and the generations after you! Do you know what alpha means? It means that something is first or the beginning. It also means that something is dominant or otherwise important or influential.
This is why naming your generation, Generation Alpha is so fitting, you are a new generation, in a new century, bringing in a new era. Did you know that your generation is the 1st generation to be entirely born in the 21st century? That may not mean much to you now, but you play a very significant role in how society will function from now going forward.
What you do will set the pace, the course, and the tone for a whole new era! You will pass on how society functions from now and into the future. That makes you very important!
You are growing up in a time where the world is going through a lot of change in the way we think, function, and live; where technology is a big part of the way you relate to the world around you.
Just like a body cannot survive without a heartbeat, the soul of the next generation may not survive without you. You are the heartbeat of the 21st century.
I will share with you some practical ways you can keep the heartbeat of your generation and the generations to come, alive and well.

A - Artificial Intelligence
Have you ever heard of artificial intelligence? It is when someone designs a computer or machine to have human capabilities, interactions, and intelligence; giving them the ability to think and make decisions like humans. Artificial intelligence has increased greatly in the 21st century; it seems to be everywhere!

There is other artificial intelligence that performs a human-like function, like an iRobot vacuum. It can be programmed to vacuum your house the same time every day and even memorizes the rooms to vacuum.
Did you know that they are even making cars that drive themselves?! By the time you are of legal age to drive, self-driving cars may become something very common.
Artificial Intelligence is not all bad, in fact, some of it is very helpful. The question becomes, how much further will it go?
