God, in humble obedience, dedication and servitude to You, Thank You for the vision to write this book. You kept me focused on You so that I could clearly listen to You. You are so Awesome, and I truly Praise You.

Thank You for our Spiritual Family, The Triune – God, The Father – God, The Son and God, The Holy Spirit. You loved us so much that You included us as a vital part of Your creation and Your Image. You also created us with the capacity to love.

God, Thank You for my immediate family: my hubby, Freddy; son, Tonio (wife, Amber and daughters, Ren and Kinley); son, Freddy 3 (wife, Y’Sarah and daughters, Chloe, Calyse, and Camelle) and daughter, Fawnie (hubby, Grady IV and son, Grady V, G5). To them, I also dedicate this book.

February ’19, as Matriarch of my family, You blessed me to begin a Prayer-Text Ministry to share with my family each Monday morning in the 7:00 o’clock hour. The intent was, and still is, to keep our family connected in love and as one. Hands-on experiences which matured and strengthened me, my prayer life and character, served enormously when composing the prayers. They also allowed me to understand that going through is all about ministry, which is not always easy.

Thank You for directions for each prayer. Tuning in to Your voice, I received valuable info to share to keep my family connected and united.

Reaching Heaven is so important. Constantly staying tuned-in to Your voice, Father, gave me directions from Your Word and my heart, in love.

The ministry thread count grew from one to several threads. You later spoke to me to compile the prayers into a book, honoring You. Not only will it be a blessing to me and my family but to so many families that need love, life, unity, encouragement, hope, joy, and healing to endure the challenges of life.

God, in carrying out this assignment, many challenges came my way to distract me – but Praise God – You blessed me to be about Your work, exalting You, and to be excited about it knowing that it will help so many family members. I pray that it will minister to many families as You will have it to - globally and without boundaries.

Loving Father, Thank You for the love and support from my family and friends. They served as cheerleaders and offered many supporting, agreeable, and rewarding comments regarding this experience.

As we learn to model after the Triune, as one, we can be the hearts of our homes and conquer so much together. I pray that each family member connects with a willing spirit and attitude to love more, forgive, sacrifice, and serve with compassion. These actions can cheer and fashion the way for more open hearts and have greater support, in love, for each.

Help us to dream of greatness through shared ideas. If stormy encounters erupt, help us to, peaceably, unify and reason together. Help us to be reminded of what 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says about love (patience, kindness, not puffed up, does not keep score of wrongs, and the like). When these positive works are done with heart, God, I know that You will move, supernaturally, mightily and with awe!

PREFACE

The foundation of the family can be traced to the Bible. The Triune – God, The Father; God, The Son; and God, The Holy Spirit, known as Three-In-One, is our Spiritual family.

God, our Creator, shares His Awesomeness as a Spiritual Family Being. And God said, ‘Let us make man in our image’ . . . So, God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them.¹

Adam and Eve became parents to Cain, Abel, and Seth which consisted of the first earthly family naming Adam, the Patriarch and Eve, the Matriarch. You must have many children so that your descendants will live all over the earth.²

In its fundamental nature, the family (nuclear, extended, single, and reconstituted) is the backbone of the nation. It can laugh, enjoy, play, pray, work, and connect. It is also filled with many flaws and imperfections due to Adam and Eve losing sight of an order given by God and accepting temptation from the enemy. Sinning stemmed because of disobedience. It proceeded to counting the cost of having to work, experience heartache, pain, and the like, and it has not stopped.

As descendants of Adam and Eve, families engage in many affairs/events from celebrations of life to celebrations of death. There are weddings, births, birthdays, reunions, vacations, dinners, church, cookouts, parties, movie/game nights, holiday celebrations, educational achievements, work etc. that can be filled with joy and happiness. Alternatively, there are shattered relationships (marriages, children, siblings, relatives), inheritance settlements, purchases, and financial gain along with shared advice/counsel, and other tainting actions (that are running rampant) that have caused unrest. Earthly grapples, struggles, pain, separation, unforgiveness, jealousy, unknown bitterness and hardened hearts are evident in an already wicked environment. Not speaking, dishonor, disrespect, belittlement, hurt, meanness, loneliness, aloneness causing family division can be added to the destruction of family, as well.

God did not want a damaging life for His children. His love for us is so great that He gave us a Spiritual Rite of Passage or a Passport to His Kingdom by way of believing in His Beloved Son, Jesus, who gave His life and got up, just for us to get it right.

As each family member strives to make their family the best, it can filter globally and make the world a better place. In 1954, Patrick Peyton was credited with these sound statements, The family that prays together, stays together and A world at prayer is a world at peace (Family Theatre Productions, 2019). Also, adopting the Scripture, …as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord³ can serve as a great foundation for family and family resurrection.

God carries an individual photo of each one of us in His heart along with a family photo. Each family member is the apple of His eye⁴ because each person is precious and fearfully and wonderfully made.⁵

I pray that we will strive to chart our lives, for the cause of Christ, continuously, so we can hear Him say, very good⁶ and well done.⁷

God, Praise You! You are so Wonderful! Only through You can I accomplish the works that You have just for me. I acknowledge and exalt You for ordering my steps.

To My hubby, Freddy, thank you for supporting me throughout this assignment given from our Father. You have been praying with and for me.

When God told me, Don’t look back regarding accepting a job offer that I had about a year or so ago (at that time), I was not aware of the vision, plans and duty² that He had for me. I was obedient and did not accept the offer. I did not want to turn into a pillar of salt.³

After a while, God nudged me, several times, to compile the prayer texts in a book format. This collection of prayers will be an anointed publication to help families stay connected, in love, only in His Name. I sought Him for guidance and direction, and He has been holding my hand, with promise, of walking and seeing me through this mission. Throughout the writings, as led by the Holy Spirit, related Scriptures have been included which can help with Bible Study along with spending more quality and intimate time with the Lord. I know there are rewards for being obedient to God’s callings and requests. It is so amazing to know His voice, obey, and follow His lead.⁴

To Fawnie, thank you for listening when I shared my thoughts. You encouraged me and served as a priceless proofreader.

I thank God, again, for my Christian family (mentioned in the Dedication), my beloved Christian parents, grandparents, and siblings. Thanks to all family and friends who read, shared and/or commented on the prayer texts. Thank you all also for encouraging me, while accomplishing this assignment, in the Enriching Name of Jesus!

The first family connecting prayer-text was forwarded on Monday, the 11th of February ’19, in the 7:00 a.m. hour. Praise God, we are still connecting, strong. The prayer content was led by the Holy Spirit. The prayers are numbered and dated (at the end of each prayer) based on the time of sharing.

Displaying organization, even though the prayers are specific in nature, they are categorized, according to the heart of the content, which led to forming a variety of chapters. Additionally, some prayers were merged that had like material, which again was led by the Holy Spirit.

God, Thank You, our Creator, a Member of the Divine Family –

God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit comprise The Three-In-One.

The Holiness is Amazing! How Great Thou Art!

The Supernatural graces us by intermingling, intertwining, intervening because of Love taught!

Family, a work of art, a connection, a structure

designed by God, that resulted from the

creation of Adam and Eve.

Made in the image of God, a very good Kingdom expansion on earth. Believe!

Family – each member, fearfully and wonderfully made,

Family, for each life, Jesus paid!

Families are of different types – nuclear, extended, single, reconstituted.

God desires to be in the midst – His voice He does not want muted.

Weddings, reunions, cookouts, parties, and vacations, He wants to be invited,

Please, do not exclude Him, family love can blossom because it has been ignited.

God wants to be included in all events from births to loss of lives.

All affairs – so that prayer, love, and forgiveness can override the heartbreaks, hurt, and lies.

For His daily grace and mercy, Praise Him, enjoy, love, practice unity and care,

Forgive! Love! Love! Forgive! Choose not to dishearten, fuss, fight, hurt but forbear.

Families, stay connected, adopt the Scripture, such as, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15)¹.

Read it, Pray it, Play it, Sing it, Text it, Say it, Live it - with open hearts, over and over and over again,

Rock your house with His Word so there will not be any disconnect.

Let us embed It in every gene, in doing so, we will not fret.

God, Thank You for family. You gave Your Begotten Son, a ransom, for us to get it right.

Please forgive us for any mess-ups while trying to get it right.

Help us to be an example of Kingdom building by staying connected, as we tread along the way,

We Praise You for Blessing us so we can present an image of You, every day.

Dear God - Happy Day to You! You are Holy, Wise, Love, Amazing and Awesome. You are full Mercy, Grace, Joy, Forgiveness and Peace! You are a Miracle to us, each day. Thank You for Your continued guidance, shelter, protection, food, provisions, and everything that is good to and for us. Thank You for Your anointing and giving Your angels charge over us. I love You so much!

Happy day, my family. I love you all so much.

Father, we invite you to Guardian over us for safe, peaceful, and restful sleep, each night. We thank You for each wake up kiss, caress, and smile that is radiantly filled with Your glory, heart, and hope. Thank You for inviting us to connect with You, daily, through an easy access called prayer, in the Name of Jesus!

God, Thank You for life and our families. You are our sure Foundation. Thank You for enabling us to stay connected each Monday morning (in the seven o’clock hour) through a Prayer Text Ministry. We invite You to reside in our families and homes, daily, with Your luggage that is filled and tagged with love and Your Word. Having them both allows us to feel, read, and absorb You and see the positive effects in our lives. Having You, unquestionably, makes a difference in our lives.
