About this ebook
In a guide for Christians inspired by prayer and the Holy Spirit, Karen Aletha Franklin shares testimonies and insights that reflect on the basics of life and the simplicity of God’s Word in down-to-earth language. With frankness and love, Karen Aletha relates the reality that humanity’s struggles, issues, and victories are more common than we think, and that the spirit of God is the candle that not only reveals the secrets of the heart but also heals and saves the sinful soul through the work of the cross. Through it all, Karen Aletha guides Christians to move on to perfection in Christ Jesus and build the kingdom of God—one soul, one family, and one nation at a time.

This book is born out of life experiences that unveiled the very core of the soul. It helps reveal the transparency of the heart by way of actions, words, and deeds. An encouraging word to you concerning the heart and soul: they can be made clean within you even after being desperately wicked, and your spirit can be renewed and righteous. I’m inspired to share these testimonies and insights, which were encounters of life. What came up came out, and I hadn’t even known it was there. Each day, we move on to perfection in Christ Jesus as he reveals matters of the heart and issues of the soul. Let us now go on a life-changing journey with the governing of the Holy Spirit.
Acknowledgments and Dedication
I give great honor and recognition to those who have encouraged me, prayed for me, inspired me, spoken a word over me, and motivated me to step out on faith to use the God-given ability that was locked inside me. I deeply appreciate the financial support that was sown into this ministry.
I trust that the inspired testimony of God’s grace and goodness will help process sanctification, by acknowledgment and confession unto salvation that brings deliverance, by seeing the truth and the truth making you free. May every reader be edified who will take hold of the faith, insight, revelation, and words of prophecy that have been released by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
I give honor to my parents in the Lord, Apostle Rickey and Pastor Nettie Parks, for their mentorship. I appreciate my husband—my king, Thomas Maner—for all the nights he patiently endured alone while I was away in secret, writing this book. Words can’t express my love for my daughter and son-in-law, Lashay and James Dexter, and my grandchildren, O’Shea and Ja’shay Dogue. I’m very grateful for my father, Sherman E. Franklin Jr., who’s always there. (I love you, Dad.)
Much love to my brothers and sisters who continually speak positive words in my life, encouraging me to finish strong. Special thanks to my trailblazers and forerunners who made this experience easy and rewarding: the prophetic mantle on my twin, Sharon Harris; the intelligence, skill, knowledge, abilities, and potential of Sergeant Michael L. Franklin; and Pastor Sherman Franklin III, a counselor in the kingdom of God who believes in the God in me and supports this work in word and deed.
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee.
