ABOUT THIS BOOK

T his book was first drafted in 2000 while I was living in the City of Atlanta, Georgia. Quite a long time ago, isn’t it? The draft remained in my files, for editing and finalizing, until I moved from Atlanta to Columbus, OH in 2003. This was the time I was participating in the establishment of Ibnu Taymiyah Masjid and Islamic Center.

Since then, I couldn’t find any copy of the draft, hard or digital, and of course, this was long before the social media revolution along with its clouds and file saving. Therefore, I had to come to terms with the fact that the draft was a lost effort.

Recently, while I was looking through some documents in my library, my daughter Muna raised a small plastic folder, and said: What about this? As soon as I saw the title, I was astonished to see the draft that I had lost 15 years earlier. I understood that now was the time for it, perhaps a better timing than 15 years earlier.

I have printed many books in different languages, but this one, although small in size, is great in content, or at least I think so. The fact that I poured my heart into it, makes it one of the closest books to me.

Now I want to share with the readers around the world my journey in finding what the best life could be and what the joy of life can look like in our reality.

I have no doubt that the definition of best life can differ from one person to another, and it’s experienced differently from various aspects and angles.

However, I’m also aware that all of us,
