    Imagine yourself sitting around a small, enclosed fire on a tall deck close to the ocean, and you can hear the waves lapping down below. You are surrounded by your most loved people, good music, and you are all laughing and immersed in conversation while drinking your favorite drinks and eating your favorite foods.

    Then one of your friends holds up their glass for a toast. They all toast you and your generosity for funding this entire getaway. Cheers to you abound as the flickering light from the fire dances across everyone's faces. Finally, one of your friends' faces takes on a serious look, and they say to you, Please tell us how you did it, how you turned your life around SO much. We all want in on your secret.

    You look at them with only love in your eyes and say, I decided to be happy, and I did it.

    Could it be that simple? Just by deciding to be happy, will you live a wondrous life? By deciding to be happy, you end up with a life that exceeds anything you currently think is possible?

    Yes.

    When you make your happiness a priority in your life, you will notice when you are not happy.

    When you notice you are not happy, you will find something to make you feel better and happier.

    The more you do this, the more you keep noticing and reaching for happiness, the happier you will become overall.

    Overall, the happier you are, the better and better your life will become.

    At that point, a magical force overcomes you. I don’t know what it is or what to call it. Some call it God; some call it the Universe, Source, or divine will. Whatever it is, it will notice that you want to be happy and that you are willing to do whatever you need to do to be happy. This magic will then swoop in and assure that you are happy with every wish you could ever desire or something better.

    Many people say you should set a goal for something you want.

    I will earn $500,000 this year.

    I will lose 30 pounds in 6 months.

    That’s unnecessary. There is only one ultimate goal to strive towards — the goal of happiness. When we pursue happiness in every corner of our lives, we will receive happiness in every corner of our lives. When we receive happiness, we receive anything that could make us happy! From big money to health, the kiss of the morning sun upon your skin, and the smile a puppy brings to your face. Everything.

    It is my biggest hope that you will carry this book with you at all times. If you need a quick pick-me-up, it will be there for you. If you need an idea to bring you happiness, it will be there for you. If you are simply looking for a reminder to choose happiness, it will be there for you.

    You don’t need this book if you can do a few things.  Know what you want. (Complete and utter happiness.)  Visualize yourself being the happiest you can imagine daily.  Do things daily that make you happy until you live in a state of almost continual happiness. (Nobody is happy 100% of the time, and that’s okay.)

    The fact is, though, we have consumed ourselves with things that don’t make us happy. Most of all, we’ve conditioned our minds to preoccupy ourselves from happiness. That is why this book is so vital. It will be your go-to resource to feel better and better until you reach happiness.
