Get Over Your Stress - Christopher Páez
Introduction
Surely you have gone through situations where you feel irritated, emotions take control over decisions that you later regret, or say things that you would not say in other circumstances. You hit, yell, mistreat, humiliate, not only others, but yourself.
Why does this happen? Many people suffer from stress, which manifests itself in this and other ways, summed up in a single problem: you cannot control your emotions. You can also feel overwhelmed by so many responsibilities and you think that you do not have time to handle so much, and even muscle aches overwhelm you.
It is a complex situation, without a doubt. The first step is to understand it, find the root of the conflict and take actions, with strategies, advice from close people, or professionals to deal with stress, but the first thing you have to do is understand the problem you are going through.
The book you have in your hands helps you discover what stress is, what causes it, and most importantly, how to fight it and what are the steps to overcome it. Here you will discover techniques, exercises and tips to relieve stress and among other things, make better decisions.
For years I have faced the problem both as a professional and also as a victim, I can talk to you from the knowledge I have acquired about the problem, as well as my personal experiences before finding solutions for stress. I suffered from stress for many years, if I am honest, I began to suffer from it since I was a teenager, with school responsibilities. A language test was a horror for me, the teacher was demanding and for every spelling error he would lower your grades and if there were too many of them, you could fail despite your knowledge of the subject.
And so it was with other subjects, and I always lived in that tension, irritable, sometimes I couldn't even stand my friends. Later, when I went to college, the feeling was accentuated, and years later, as a professional stress was part of my life, during the day he accompanied me to the office and at night he hugged me in bed. I had dreams related to work and woke up stressed. Once I dreamed that I was making a report, and I woke up alarmed because it was my mind reminding me that I had not write the report, can you imagine me writing a report at 2:35 AM?
Some days it was worse than that, when stress reached to the level of anxiety, and little by little I went down to that path and even got to have depression, because that’s what stress is, the first step to depression.
I don't want to talk about these issues now, I already did it in another book, what I do want is to be able to show you how stress is easier to fight than other conditions, in this book you will find advice, techniques, and content of great
