There’s a collective consciousness threading through the minds of many that can no longer be ignored. The need to understand our inner world and how it merges with the ether of the unknown. Even for those who feel like they are connected to nothing I would say, the only way to know of disconnection is for some type of connection to have existed and been experienced. Either way, I’ve gone through a period where I felt lost. I was likened to a spiritual orphan looking for a home in places with no remanence of my origins.
For as long as I can remember, I floated through life, skimming on the surface of the day-to-day. Like a buoy in troubled waters, I would sway in any direction hoping someone would come along and maybe, just maybe, pick me up and allow me to take a voyage on their boat. One day I had an epiphany that I couldn’t get anywhere in life because I was adopting other people’s personas and desperately trying to make them my own. I was bouncing around from job to job and numerous career swaps while continuously allowing others to project their would be lives onto mine.
