    Foreword

By Dr. Michael A. Frith, PhD

There has been an explosion of knowledge and enlightenment in these end times; such knowledge was predicted by the prophet Daniel (Daniel 12:4). The end time is marked by unprecedented opportunities to learn the Word of God and the mind of the Spirit. Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation (Isaiah 33:6, KJV). I have always had a deep hunger and thirst for knowledge of the things of God and the revelation of the Holy Spirit in His Word, and I greatly appreciate those who will delve deep into God’s Word and share deep insights and revelation. As I read God in Spirit, I became excited that Dr. Jennifer Kennedy, also a student of the Word, has decided to share her knowledge, nuggets, revelation, and insight with us. Over the years, I have witnessed Dr. Jennifer share her faith with the homeless, the disenfranchised, and the lost, always giving, loving, and caring for those she encountered. She has evangelized, pastored, and taught for many years and has also been instrumental in conducting a powerful intercessory prayer movement.

It is with great pleasure I introduce God in Spirit, a captivating exploration of the profound and ineffable nature of spirituality. In these pages, Dr. Kennedy invites the reader to embark on a profound journey that explores the timeless quest for spiritual knowledge and understanding. Through the pages of this enlightening work, Dr. Kennedy begins at the beginning and delves into the nature of divinity, the essence of spirituality, and the intricacies of the human soul. Dr. Kennedy rightly states, Only he who understands spiritual things will be able to receive the deity of the triune Godhead. God in Spirit serves as a guiding light, offering wisdom, knowledge, and insight into the interconnectedness of the natural and the supernatural and the latent power of the regenerated human spirit.

With simplicity, Dr. Kennedy leads us to contemplate the mysteries of our existence, the significance of faith, and the boundless potential for growth and transformation that resides within each of us. She challenges the reader to be aware of the potential dangers of artificial intelligence, technology, and new-age theology. Through thought-provoking topics, such as: Mistaken Identity, We are on Borrowed Time, and Truth, Fake and Reality, she beckons readers to a spiritual awakening that secures their God-given identity and becomes a conduit for the power of God. God in Spirit leads its reader into the cognizant acknowledgment of the vital and irreplaceable presence of God in the life of all His creation.

As you turn the pages of God in Spirit, may you find illumination, revelation, and inspiration in its timeless wisdom. This book is a testament to the enduring quest for spiritual and relevant truth, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and it is our sincere hope that it will kindle a sense of wonder and reverence within all who seek to explore the depths of the nature, essence, and Word of God.

    Introduction

Jeremiah, known as the weeping prophet, was a spokesman for God in his time. His grief for his people was deep, more than crying because something happened; he was in mourning because the man whom God made and put His breath in had been rebellious against God and refused to repent of his sins. The prophet knew that man would bring himself much suffering and that he would experience the wrath of his God; unless man repented and turned from his wicked ways, God’s judgment was certain. In Jeremiah’s time, it was a rebellious nation that refused to honor its maker and continued to corrupt the planet that God made. In the present time, man has decided that He can survive without God and even live by his own rules, as though God is no longer in the world that He made and is no longer in charge of His creation. God sends a strong delusion to many who will perish in the end. Unless man repents of his sins, he will suffer the consequences. The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20, KJV).

Man wants to be in control of himself as though God does not have a voice in his well-being. God did not create the universe, make man in His own image and likeness, and leave the planet and man for them to manage on their own. The truth is everything on the Earth, including mankind walking and breathing fresh air, is a provision from God. Man continues living his life here in the universe with oxygen provided by the supernatural power of God alone. This is evidence of God’s presence on the Earth. God keeps the water supply flowing, and the wind never ceases to blow. Man can be confident when stepping on Earth’s foundation that it will not shift or disappear from under his feet. He can stand firm and trust the surface beneath him will sustain him. It is evident that God is still on the Earth, and He is keeping the planet in the same place where He created it. All this is done by God, not AI. A seed is put in the ground, and shortly, beautiful flowers bloom; a chicken lays an egg, the egg brings forth a chicken, and man still has enough eggs for breakfast and chicken for dinner. These are the creations of the hand of God. No human can take credit for such things. Not even artificial intelligence, as savvy and ingenious as this is; their inventions are second-hand, copied, cloned, or that knowledge that comes from the Father. No matter what method is used, any new creation is never truly original but rather a derivative of something already created by God, the almighty Creator.

In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

    John 1:1–4 (NJKV)

Taxonomists have suggested that there are 2.13 billion species on the planet.¹ There is no credible evidence of any other deity, except the God of the Bible, who can be given credit for so many amazing creatures. There is no doubt that this is an illustration of God’s presence on Earth; there is no other entity that claims to be the creator of every creeping thing and creature. Biblical history offers several facts about God’s presence on Earth, and many believers who have experienced the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God can testify of this truth. This is not something AI can provide for humanity; only the Godhead can do miracles. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him Rabbi, we know that thou are a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him (John 3:2, KJV). When the Son completed His work here on Earth, He left, but not before leaving another member of the Godhead to dwell in the Earth. The Spirit, who now lives in those who have received Him, is also a testament of God living in the Earth realm and in the human that He made. The triune Godhead enables man during his existence on the Earth to live a God-ordained life. It is this God-ordained life, made possible by the only true God, the reason why artificial intelligence cannot come between man and the God who made him. The life that man must live while living on God’s Earth has to comply with God’s will for mankind; after all, all of humanity carries God’s DNA. Every human has something in him that belongs to God—God’s breath. Man must know that He is the only true God, and He is supreme over all.

Since the creation of man, and in this dispensation of time, man is still in a rebellious condition. Man is still rejecting the God who made him, even with idol worship, which has become a common practice and is now worse than before. The man whom God made has taken the responsibility upon himself to navigate mankind’s journey through life and man’s eternal existence on Earth. Man has manufactured for himself many gods that have a strong hold over him, like the god of finances, the god of self-sustenance and power, the god of technology, and even a god of religion who has a huge impact on humanity believing in false religions lead by false gods and sociopaths, offering no message of redemption or hope. Love is never a part of what they offer to mankind.

These are the new deities of the end times or the new world that man so desperately seeks to establish by his own knowledge and strength. But it is factual that man did not make himself, or else man would be the head of man. So even if God did not make man, then someone else or something else is responsible for the life of mankind. If we try to give credit to any other source for the creation of the universe and the man in it, then where is the tangible proof of such a god? Yet one can see the proof of the triune Godhead as the creator of man in the characteristics of humanity and in every living thing on the planet because man was made in God’s image, and God has character. One of the many attributes of God is the unlimited supernatural abilities that He passed down to man. Every human born to another human has a natural revelation. For example, every baby already knows how to cry when he wants attention. No parent needs to teach the baby how to cry; that baby is born with that natural ability to cry. A human is born with the natural ability to breathe God’s breath. A parent doesn’t have to teach a newborn how to breathe. Unless a person is sick, every man automatically knows how to access God’s breath, and for free. No other gods can take credit for these natural abilities given to humanity. God, who created man, is still here. He stayed with His creation so that every soul would stay connected to His maker and be able to draw from the fountain of life. Many humans have forgotten the God who made them and are looking for guidance and power from other sources. In an attempt to get solutions for his problems, man will seek whoever can provide an answer that suits his needs. But living in the universe that God the Creator made and benefiting from creation, both naturally and supernaturally, is a testament that God still lives here. In fact, he never left Earth. A vast number of the human species have rejected God, and they are working overtime to replace Him. But thanks be to God, that is not possible.

For thou hath said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the Mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most high God. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

    Isaiah 14:13–15 (KJV)

It is appalling that humans living today have some elaborate idea concerning the fate of the human race that belongs to the Creator, the God of the universe, the one whose breath humans are sustained by. This little man made by this big God has the thought of introducing another kind of plan that would contribute to the lasting life and offer humanity a better plan than the one God has in place, which is called forever life. But they, their invention, and every man who puts their trust in those who are behind such theories will be severely punished by his creator, the God of all ages, the great I Am (Exodus 3:7–8; 13–14).
