Intro
Are you considering life abroad? I will tell you firsthand. It’s a huge life-changing decision to make. Some people have no problems making this decision, Others think they want to live abroad but find going through the process a nightmare. I will also tell you some people thrive and will say this is the best decision they have made in their life. Others not so much. Suppose you are with a partner. Life abroad can and will make you feel closer and stronger to your partner as starting out, you will only have each other. If things don’t go as planned, it can also tear you apart and destroy your relationship. I have seen both situations happen. It all comes down to your mindset, and both of you wanting the same thing.
In this ebook, I will go over the steps I took in detail to not only move abroad but to do it successfully and with as little stress as possible. You want the process to be enjoyable as you start your new adventure in life. There is a process and some steps in this process are critical. Also, this ebook is just a guide related to how I go about doing things when it comes to planning a move abroad as everyone’s situation is different. Always do what is best for you

So what do I know about moving and living abroad? To date, I have lived in six countries and I am a full citizen of two of these countries.

When I say I have lived in six countries. This doesn’t include countries I have visited for a vacation or just several weeks. When I say I have lived in the country. This means I have gotten away from the vacation mindset and had the mindset of everyday life. It also means I have lived the day-to-day lifestyle in that country for more than six months and acquired a visa other than a tourist visa.
––––––––
The countries I have lived in are:
● United Kingdom - Citizenship
● Canada - Citizenship
● United States of America - Investment Visa
● Ecuador - Permanent Resident Retirement Visa
● Malaysia - Work Visa
● Philippines - Spousal Visa
––––––––
So without wasting any more time, let's get started in answering the question How do you begin the process to move abroad?
