Dedication
To my wife Jane and my sister Julie who encouraged me to write some poems. They both had more faith in me than I had in myself.

Our Land
This is the place where Dragons live
You may think that’s not true
Cos on a cold dark winters night
I’ve seen more than just a few
They like to stay high in the sky
And barely out of sight
But if you look a little closer
You can see them all in flight
When a storm is raging
And the clouds are getting higher
It’s not the lightning that you see
