The Short-lived Social media biz of Darlene Hoffman - Ian Schrauth

    Chapter 1

As I was walking out of the McDonald’s, I had tears in my eyes.

How could they do that to me? Is what I thought as I walked to my car.

I worked at that McDonald’s for four years. Busting my butt off, for them, bending over backwards for them, and working overtime to save them.

And they had the nerve to fire me over a customer complaining about me!

She called me names nobody should ever say!

This was the first job that has ever fired me, and I was frightened!

I put the keys in my car, and stared to drive home.

On my way home, I was thinking of places that I could apply to.

I could apply to the Taco Bell that I used to work at...but their new management took over and once you quit...You’re done for.

    Meaning: they won’t rehire you.

One of my friend’s works at a call center that’s always hiring...but do I want to be told how much I’m an awful human being from someone on the phone for eight hours a day?

I’d rather shit in my hands and clap...

When I got home, I walked to my room, and went straight to my computer.

    I had an idea...

My close friend is a sales representative for a company, and she not only sets her own schedule, but she says she makes a LOT.

She’s always saying that her wax cubes sell themselves, and anyone can do what she does.

    ––––––––

** Hey Demi, I just got fired from McDonald’s, and I’m wondering if the company you work for his hiring. **

    Chapter 2

Later that night, I got a message back from her.

** Hey hun! I own my own company with Scentsy! I would love to hire you onto my team! We have an amazing team here, and amazing support from corporate! When would be a good time to do a phone call? I know you’ll ROCK this business!**

    She owns her own business?
