This was a pool campus recruitment process.
Additional Requirements:
- All students needed to submit a PAN card with a photo as the only accepted identity proof during registration. Minor PAN cards were not accepted, and providing one would result in disqualification from the process.
Hiring Rounds
Round 1: Cognitive and Technical Assessment
This elimination round included sections on:
- Cognitive: Reasoning and Verbal Ability
- Technical: MS Office and common applications, pseudocode outputs, and fundamentals of Cloud and Network Security
The round consisted of 90 questions in 90 minutes. To qualify, students had to clear both an overall and a sectional cutoff.
Round 2: Coding Assessment
This compulsory elimination round included two coding questions to be solved in 45 minutes:
- Find the Second Smallest Element: Given an array, find and print the second smallest element.
- Example:
[1, 3, 1, 2, 5, 0] - Output:
2
- Find the Team with Maximum Wins: Given team names for each match, determine the team with the most wins.
- Example:

Note: Team names could vary, though this wasn’t specified in the instructions.
Round 3: Communication Assessment
This was a non-elimination round lasting about 17 minutes, covering:
- Reading, listening, and repeating sentences
- Arranging jumbled words in sequence
Tip: Speak clearly and avoid talking too fast.
Round 4: Virtual Interview
The final elimination round was a mix of technical and HR questions:
- Introduction: Started with a self-introduction.
- Project-related Questions: Questions based on projects listed on the resume. It's important to know your resume thoroughly.
- Additional Questions: Asked about my achievements, why I want to join Accenture, and follow-up questions.
Tip: Prepare practical questions to ask the interviewer at the end.
Outcome
After a few days, I received an email confirming my selection for the Associate Software Engineer role.
