When you’ve got one of the most watched, impactful and passionate players in the game — you celebrate. This week, Nike World Headquarters is all things Caitlin Clark and send ups to her new logo as a Nike signature athlete. That Caitlin Energy extends to worldwide, motivating and empowering the next generation of hoopers. “At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport itself. Caitlin exemplifies both: an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game,” says Ann Miller, EVP, Nike Global Sports Marketing. In 2006, Nike athlete Maria Sharapova wore a bespoke LBD on the court that proved you don't have to sacrifice style for performance. Now, to celebrate Maria’s 2025 induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, we’ve made her a new one. Go behind the scenes of both dresses’ creation with our Chief Design Officer Martin Lotti: https://lnkd.in/gezBNtBH #NikeDesign #NikeAthletes #JustDoIt

Rule No. 1: We will win.   Last Thursday, Nike co-founder Phil Knight and his wife, Penny Knight, pledged a record $2 billion to the Oregon Health & Science University’s Knight Cancer Institute to set a new global standard in cancer care and help to one day eradicate the disease.    “Penny and Phil Knight have always challenged us to do what no one else is doing,” says Brian Druker, M.D., who has long teamed with the Knights and the Knight Cancer Institute. “It can seem impossible to navigate the health care system after being diagnosed with cancer. We’re going to change that. We have revolutionized the way we detect and treat cancer. Now we are going to transform the way we care for patients while continuing to develop innovative treatments.”   Phil and Penny, thank you for always betting on and fighting for human potential — the most powerful force there is. To the Knights: respect. To cancer: hell.   #GiveCancerHell #JustDoIt #KnightCancerInstitute

NYvsNY began as an ambitious idea: Create a summer tournament series that showcases New York City’s top high school basketball talent, celebrating borough pride and the city’s unique hoops culture. In a place where basketball is everything, that’s no small feat. "There isn’t anything in the basketball world quite like New York vs New York," says Kevin Santana, NYC/East Brand Director, Jordan Brand. The Nike-fueled series has grown beyond just a tournament. Now in its latest season — with this year’s championship tipping off today — it’s become a stage for the city’s hottest high school players to represent their neighborhoods and celebrate the spirit of NYC basketball. It’s an experience unlike anything else out there. "NYvsNY changed the game forever. It’s the purest form of New York City basketball and culture," Santana says. For him, helping to shape and grow NYvsNY has been one of the most rewarding projects he’s worked on at Jordan Brand. "It takes a village to make this happen and the bonds you build in the trenches are irreplaceable," he says. "It’s challenging, competitive and ultimately incredibly rewarding. Projects like this are what keep me inspired every day." The power of community isn't limited to NYC courts. See how it shaped Paige Bueckers’ rise to the top: https://lnkd.in/gJ6qJdux #NikeBasketball #JordanBrand #SwooshLife #JustDoIt

Some races are about the finish line. For the 84 Nike teammates who earned their spot in this year’s Hood to Coast Relay, it’s about the journey. Chosen from more than 2,000 applicants across Nike’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) team, these runners have spent the past 14 weeks training together, supporting one another and proving what’s possible when a team shares one goal. For everyone involved, the experience has been a reminder that at Nike, running is for everyone. “The biggest challenge has been beating my own limit, I never thought I would be a runner," says DINEO MOALOSI. Powered by a full training program, weekly coaching and months of preparation, the EMEA team is now set to take on the 196-mile race from Oregon’s Mount Hood to the Pacific Ocean. Twenty-five new stores. One unstoppable team.   Nike Canada’s "25 and 25" project, an ambitious push to open 25 new partner stores across Canada in our fiscal year 2025, wrapped with the same big energy that it began with. It was exactly the kind of bold move that defines Nike and the type of challenge that brings our retail teams to life.   "We're a small but mighty team that lead the planning and managing of an entire country and everything from A to Z," says Nathan Balmes, Visual Merchandising Lead, Nike Store Partners Canada, who helped manage the project.   Every new store was more than just launching a retail space — it was an opportunity to connect with local communities, create premium brand experiences and show up in a way that felt authentically Nike. From Toronto’s bustling streets to cities across the country, each opening set a new standard.   "Our role is to ensure that the brand comes to life in an uncompromised and premium, pinnacle way in all stores across Canada," says Adri Colavecchia, Senior Manager, Nike Store Partners Canada. "Canada is an incredible multicultural country. It's an amazing mosaic of diverse nationalities and we're very embracing of that here."   Ready to make big ideas happen? Game on — and everyone’s invited. To mark the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and close out Disability Pride Month, Nike’s DEI Team and Disability Network hosted the third annual Accessibility Summit and inaugural Wheelchair Basketball Challenge. It was a celebration of innovation, community and sport with standout appearances from Nike athletes, including Paralympic silver medalist Ixhelt González and retired WNBA legend Sylvia Fowles, as well as Ann Miller, Vice President of Sports Marketing and Sarah Mensah, President of Jordan Brand. “This was an incredible experience that showcased the power of inclusivity and determination,” says Charlie Doane, Disability Network Co-Lead. “It challenged traditional notions of disability, highlighting the talent and dedication of athletes with disabilities.” For Doane, the moment was deeply personal. Growing up with Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy, accessible footwear changed the game for him. In fact, it was the discovery of the LeBron Zoom Soldier 8 FlyEase that sparked the dream to work at Nike, where he now helps shape inclusive design and storytelling. “At Nike, innovation, inclusivity and empowerment aren’t just values, they’re lived experiences,” he says. “Events like these fuel our culture and remind us what’s possible when everyone’s invited to play.” Explore more ways we’re designing for every body, every athlete: https://lnkd.in/gA2AfGBE #NikeAccessibility #SwooshLife #JustDoIt

Nothing better than hot dogs, Cracker Jack and good old-fashioned sandlot-style baseball — especially when you’re cheering on your NIKE, Inc. teammates. Last week, a team of 17 World Headquarters–based employees formed the Nike Knights — a roster that featured recreational players along with former MLBers and Little League heavy hitters — and stepped up to the plate to challenge the Moontowers, an Austin, Texas baseball club. How you know the game was legit: We made our players their own baseball cards. (Check out that image carousel.) “I loved seeing how excited all the Nike employees were to be out on the field again, playing a sport that they’re passionate about,” says Paige von Sprecken, Senior Professional in APLA Communications and former University of Texas at Austin pitcher, who suited up for the Knights. “There was also this realization of, ‘How cool is it that we get to do things like this during our day job?’ It was truly an only-at-Nike experience.” Going into the final innings, the Moontowers held a lead, and our home team was lagging, until — in a moment of quintessential Nike magic — the Nike Knights secured a 13-11 win, ending the game with a dramatic walk-off grand slam.
