The one thing they have in common is that they’re passionate professionals with expertise in Google technology who enjoy sharing knowledge with each other, making an impact, and continuous learning.

I am an invited panelist, one of a select group of independent analysts and consultants who interact in private forums with leading vendors and startups in data, analytics and AI on the introduction of new technology and products. Vendors receive candid, private advice on product direction, strategy, differentiation and positioning. I ran a series of certification workshops to help Google Developers prepare for the Professional Cloud Database Engineer certification exam. Jessica Rudd at GDG Atlanta was the co-host of this series.

The New England chapter of HIMSS has organized a mentor program. https://newengland.himss.org/professional-resources/ne-mentorship-program I have been a mentor for 2 years. for me, the learning is bi-directional. I can offer career advice from a perspective of someone who has been in the workforce for quite a while. At the same time, I learn about the challenges faced by my mentees, and I find this helps me to grow as well.

The COVID-19 Study-a-thon assembled a global on-line community of more than 300 to begin to generate evidence related to COVID-19 by examining multiple sources of real-world-data. The OHDSI analytics tools will be used across multiple OMOP-formatted databases to achieve these goal:
- Characterisation of symptoms and complications of viral diseases
- Prediction of adverse outcomes amongst patients with virus-related hospitalization
- Comparative safety of treatments being… Show more
