- [Instructor] When we click on a chart in Excel, as we select a chart, activate two additional elements in the ribbon menu system, chart design and format. And these can be intimidating if you let them be. The chart design tab is more important. It gives us lots of chart styles here, and about more this in later movies. Quick layout button we'll also see is very valuable. We can also switch the orientation. That doesn't make a lot of sense until we show you, but that's valuable as well too. And, of course, at times we need to change the chart type. You can actually move the chart too. We can move it to a different work sheet. We can put it on its own sheet if we wish. The chart design tab gives us those important tools. The format tab is important but in a different sense. And here's where people can get bogged down. Maybe they don't like that green color. Well, how about shape veil? Where's this leading me? Too many choices. Or how about over here? Whoa, I'm not sure if I want to go…
