Customizing your legend
- All right now while the graph looks great. The legend up here at the top of the document looks absolutely tragic. What we want is an effect more like this. And to pull this off, we need to manually extract the legend from the graph so that it's an independent object. And let me show you how that looks. First thing you want to do is zoom out so that you can see all the elements of the legend. And then go ahead and grab your white arrow tool, which of course you can get by pressing the A-key and marquee all these objects like so. And notice that I'm not selecting all the anchor points in the various ellipses that make up the Instagram logo. So I'm going to have to try that again. And so this time what I'm going to do is press the alt key or the option key on the Mac so that I'm seeing a plus sign next to my arrow cursor. And then I'll once again, marquee those objects. And this time I ended up selecting everything. At which…
