Adjust an image that has multiple layers
- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll explore how to use an adjustment layer when you have multiple layers in an image. We know that an adjustment layer affects all the layers below it by default. Right now in this image, I have the top layer selected, the star layer. That's the layer with the yellow star on it. So let's add an adjustment layer. I'm going to come down to the black-and-white circle icon, and I'm going to add a black-and-white adjustment layer. So that comes in above the star layer that was selected, and it's affecting all of the layers below. As you can see in the image, everything is black and white. Now, what would happen if I dragged that black-and-white adjustment layer beneath the star layer? And I'll release when I see that blue line under the star layer. And sure enough, everything is black and white except the one layer that's above the black-and-white adjustment layer, the star layer that contains this star.
