- [Instructor] When you use Teams, you can sign in directly on the Teams website or you can use a separate application that you install on your computer. We'll start by using Teams in a web browser. Any user, regardless of your subscription type, can go to Teams.microsoft.com. This will work in most web browsers, including Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. You will need to sign in with your account. If you have a Microsoft 365 email address and password set up and managed by your company or school, that's what you should use to sign in, or if you're using a Team's essential subscription, you may have set up the account when you bought the subscription, or maybe a team leader sent you an invitation. You'll need to follow the prompts in that invitation email to set up the account that you'll use to sign into Teams.
