Get information about a co-worker
You can find important information about your coworkers in Teams. Wherever you see a teammates account icon, you can point your mouse cursor at it to see information. If you work in different regions from a coworker, it may be very important to know which time zone they are in. You can see what time it is in their location and how many hours difference there is between you. You can see their email address and phone number if that information is in the company directory. You can also start a chat or video call with that person from here. Sometimes you may see a message from somebody in your organization who you don't know. In the information window, you can click the org chart button to see where they work in the organization. You can see their direct coworkers and their supervisor. Remember, this information is only available if it is stored in your company's directory, but it's easy to check to see what information is available for your teammates.
