Martin Jetter becomes Chairman of SCION Association

📣 We are proud to welcome Martin Jetter as the new Chairman of the SCION Association! In July, Martin Jetter, former Chairman of Deutsche Börse AG and former Senior Vice President at IBM, took over the role of Chairman at the SCION Association. Martin has been part of our advisory board since 2022, offering strategic guidance on everything from specifications and open source to community outreach. His deep understanding of the critical role connectivity plays in modern infrastructure makes him the ideal leader to guide SCION into its next chapter. Today’s cybersecurity threats, demands for data sovereignty and optionality, and the rise of cloud and AI applications all call for a fundamentally new approach to connectivity. That’s exactly what #SCION delivers: secure, reliable, and sovereign network architecture for critical infrastructure – from finance and healthcare to energy and government. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Prof. Dr. Lothar Thiele for his exceptional leadership as Chairman since 2023. His work has built the strong foundation we’re now ready to expand on.
