Technical Lead Quantum Applications at IBM

⭐️⭐️ And that’s a Wrap!! ⭐️⭐️ The 2025 Deep Learning Indaba in Kigali, Rwanda has been nothing short of phenomenal. Our FIRST QML4Africa workshop at Indaba was a great success with @Ryan Sweke from AIMS South Africa covering the fundamentals of Quantum Computing. Yousra Farhani and Ndivhuwo Nyase provided great tutorial presentations solidifying the technical concepts, further cemented by practical implementations in IBM’s Quantum Composer and Qiskit. Lastly, we combined with The Compute workshop for a joint panel discussion on the needs of Africa for executing successful high-performance computing workflows. Petra Florizoone provided great insights into IBM’s commitment to growing skills and capacity in Africa. We’ve planted the seeds, nurtured the roots for networking and now it’s for the forest of Quantum Computing expertise in Africa to grow! Thank you to Sibusisiwe Makhanya Charity Wayua , John Matogo and Alessandro Curioni for their unwavering commitment to growing tech skills on the African continent and supporting our attendance at Indaba. #quantum #deeplearningindaba #ibmresearchafrica
