The year the internet started talking to me

In the spring of 2020, the internet started talking to me. Specifically the lifestyle sectors of fashion and design are increasingly taking to Instagram Live to discuss, debate, and come together. 

This is becoming a Social Media 2.0 for lifestyle, where we are finally discussing what really matters. 

These times also reveal who has true influence. It’s staggeringly quiet from the “clothes hangers”, the so-called influencers who have made a following out of selling their image for the highest bidding brand. What they have to offer is the opposite of essential. 

Fashion and design are great platforms for bringing people together. Now they are finally creating a true connection. And those who have something to say will thrive.
