Excerpts from Margaret Ormonds first letter to the Cluster Congregations Reader I We know that there is no formula for clustering; It is a state that we will arrive at after telling the truth, Searching our souls, and deciding that the future consists In making our structures more relevant to our globalized world How is the cluster going to strengthen our primary vocation To care to care for the earth, for our planet, for our sisters and brothers, especially the poor? The definition of our neighbor has changed radically with globalization, and technology now gives each of us many more neighbors. It is no longer only the person across the lawn or the street but also the person across the glove, across our screen. How are we changing then and living this commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves?

Pause for reflection Prayer of St. Catherine (alternate sides) I You, eternal Trinity, are the craftsman; and I your handiwork have come to know that you are in love with the beauty of what you have made. O eternal Godhead! O deep sea! What more could you have given me than the gift of your very self? You are a fire ever burning but never consuming; You are a fire lifting all chill and giving light. In your light you have made me know your truth. In the light of faith, I gain wisdom in the wisdom of the Word, Your Son; In the light of faith I am strong, constant, persevering; in the light of faith I have hope: it does not let me faint along the way, and without this light I would be walking in the dark.
