Weekly Outline:
Activity session subject : Prepositions of Place Vocabulary: Up, down, in, out, inside, outside, upside down, right side up, beside, next to, on top of, under, behind, in front of Grammar: the book is inside the bag, the pencil is under the box, the chair is on top of the table Review of classroom objects. Activities / songs / games: Follow the leader game students have to use their bodies and classroom objects to physically describe prepositions of place. Inside out, upside down book. Prepositions worksheets completing sentences. Drawing pictures of objects in response to prepositions. Locations games students have to find classroom objects as the teacher calls them out.

Phonics Recognize words that have the an sound, and identify the correct words for the picture given. Identify beginning sounds and complete the words Recognize and write words that have the at sound. Practice using spelling games and object identification. Play games like student word scramble to help them practice their spelling of basic three letter words. Maths Practice counting of objects and handwriting (1 80/90) students have to count the number of a designated object on a page, and then write out the numbers in a neat and orderly fashion. Play interactive math games with them such as Addition/Subtraction Relay and Group Bingo to help the students improve their problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Give students activities using the number line to help them understand the concepts behind addition and subtraction. Notes / parent follow up: Help your child recognize the difference in prepositions and make an effort to point out where things are around the house. Ask them simple questions about their location in relation to another object or person to help them practice using prepositions when talking about themselves.
